The Group is committed to the health and safety at work of all workers and collaborators who carry out activities inside and outside the facilities, favouring a safe and healthy environment. For this reason, it has an ambitious occupational risk prevention policy, with defined and periodically reviewed action plans aimed at eliminating hazards and reducing health and safety risks, involving the workers themselves.
All the companies that form part of the Group have identified and defined the main risks derived from the work posts and activities carried out, thus being able to establish the necessary prevention and action measures, supported by existing technological advances. This information is complemented with indicators that identify the incidents and/or accidents that may have occurred, thus analysing the reason for each one and the measures that can be taken in this respect. One of the most important measures for the Group in the prevention of occupational risks and the creation of a safe and healthy environment is the training and awareness-raising of workers, with the Healthy Company.
In order to work towards becoming a Healthy Company, the Group carries out campaigns to promote healthy living: food, exercise, company outings and events (races), assessment of complementary health insurance. Programmes for the over 55s (night work/shifts) are currently being assessed.
The three main campaigns being worked on are:
– Eating well, living better: Providing water fountains throughout the facilities for the use and enjoyment of everyone in the group, as well as providing information on healthy eating (the Harvard plate…).
– Exfúmate: Campaigns to raise awareness of how harmful smoking is to health.
– Get active: Encourage exercise to avoid sedentary lifestyles and possible future consequences.
- Against harassment by providing a working environment free from harassment of workers in any form.
The IPM Group undertakes to take all necessary actions to prevent harassment within its organisation, adopting the necessary and appropriate measures through the Workplace Harassment Protocol approved in 2023. Complaints may be submitted through the Employee Portal or by email to cumplimientoetico@ipmrubi.com if you do not have a relationship with the company.
- Against any form of discrimination for the worker or job applicant, allowing equal opportunity, regardless of race, colour, age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, national origin, disability, pregnancy, religion, political affiliation, trade union membership, genetic information or marital status.
Equality between men and women is a universal legal principle enshrined in the most relevant international texts that regulate and guarantee human rights.
The Group firmly adheres to and complies with these principles, and is socially responsible and committed to equality, participating in change and adopting measures aimed at eliminating any form of discrimination and/or inequality. As the automotive sector is predominantly a male-dominated industry, the Group is committed to the objectives and commitments to ensure equal opportunities based on the gender of its employees:
– Promoting and guaranteeing equal professional opportunities.
– Ensuring the absence of direct or indirect discrimination.
– Eliminating all manifestations of discrimination in internal promotion.
– Preventing sexual and gender harassment.
– Promoting the reconciliation of the professional, personal and family life of the Group’s employees.
– Ensuring pay equity.
The Group is not only concerned with gender equality. The policies of non-discrimination based on sex, race, religion, political or trade union affiliation include non-discrimination based on functional diversity. This is one of the reasons why all the Group’s production plants collaborate with the company ILUNION, including people with functional diversity in the workforce.
